Nick Halleran
MAR Surf exchange Founder Buffalo, NY never felt like home because the sea was calling. While finishing his degree in Psychology with a focus in Counseling, Nick moved to Virginia Beach and got a hard-knocks degree in shaping and glassing custom surfboards in an effort to find the right equipment for the unique waves of the area. The new-found love for VB and board-building combined with a long-growing love of people led him to establishing the East Coasts first and only DIY surfboard factory. MAR Surf Exchange is founded on the pursuit of building a stronger surf culture and community by bringing people together through the art of board-building. |
